Question:

67 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Finance the number of staff in the Office of the Attorney General; the number of persons at Secretary General rank or equivalent in the Office of the Attorney General; and the number of persons at assistant secretary rank, or equivalent, in the Office of the Attorney General. [31838/03]

At present, there are 123 staff sanctioned for the Office of the Attorney General. Included therein are three staff members at Secretary General level, one at Deputy Secretary General level, seven at Assistant Secretary General level. There are a further two vacant Assistant Secretary General posts.
