In the course of heated exchanges across the floor of the House this morning during Leaders' Questions, I made a remark concerning the impartiality of the chairperson of the Standards in Public Office Commission and electronic voting commission, Mr. Justice Smith. I wish to apologise and withdraw the remark without reservation.
