Vol. 584 No. 2

Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Crawford — to ask the Minister for Health and Children when will there be additional dentists made available in the North Eastern Health Board area; (2) Deputy Ferris — the urgent need to discuss the circumstances surrounding the collapse of the trial of Brian Curtin; (3) Deputy Seán Power — the decision of the Greek Cypriots to exclude the full island of Cyprus from becoming a full member of the EU; (4) Deputy Keaveney — the delays in progress on a sewerage scheme (details supplied) in County Donegal; (5) Deputy Cowley — the reason the Department of Education and Science cannot decide on accommodation in St. Dymphna's special school in Ballina for a child (details supplied) with moderate Down's syndrome; (6) Deputy Neville — the need to recognise and introduce special programmes to deal with the special circumstances of Rathkeale town in County Limerick; and (7) Deputy Boyle — the failure of this Government's so called decentralisation programme which includes a proposal for the Department of Agriculture and Food's offices and specialised laboratories in Cork city to be moved to Macroom.

The matters raised by Deputies Seán Power, Cowley, Crawford and Neville have been selected for discussion.
