International Agreements: Motion.

I move:

That the proposals that Dáil Éireann approve the terms of the agreements between the Government of Ireland and:

(i) the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria on co-operation in combating illicit trafficking in drugs and precursors, money laundering, organised crime, trafficking in persons, terrorism and other serious crime which was signed in Dublin on 31 January 2002, copies of which were laid before Dáil Éireann on 21 February 2002,

(ii) the Government of the Republic of Cyprus on co-operation in combating illicit drug trafficking, money laundering, organised crime, trafficking in persons, terrorism and other serious crime which was signed in Dublin on 8 March 2002, copies of which were laid before Dáil Éireann on 21 March 2002,

(iii) the Government of the Republic of Poland on co-operation in combating organised crime and other serious crime which was signed in Warsaw on 12 May 2001, copies of which were laid before Dáil Éireann on 31 May 2002,

be referred to the Joint Committee on Justice, Equality, Defence and Women's Rights, in accordance with paragraph (2) of the Orders of Reference of that committee, which, not later that 15 December 2005, shall send a message to the Dáil in the manner prescribed in Standing Order 85, and Standing Order 84(2) shall accordingly apply.
