I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy M. Higgins — the need for the Minister to honour an award to a person (details supplied) in County Galway; (2) Deputy Breen — the need for the Minister to intervene in the current negotiations between the Dublin Airport Authority and Shannon Airport workers; (3) Deputy Ferris — the unemployment situation in Tralee; (4) Deputy Hayes — job security at the Ranbaxy laboratory plant in Cashel; (5) Deputy Kehoe — the state of the ambulance service in County Wexford, especially in Enniscorthy, and the consequential effect on the remainder of the county; (6) Deputy O. Mitchell — the amelioration of nuisance noise in residential areas close to the M50 caused by traffic and the mapping of noise areas as required under EU directives; (7) Deputy Crowe and Deputy O'Connor — the imminent closure of a creche in Tallaght, Dublin 24; (8) Deputy Cowley — the fact that 24 people are on trolleys in Mayo General Hospital with serious health and safety issues arising as regards toilet facilities, lack of hot food and spread of infection and unacceptable treatment facilities for older people, some of whom are waiting for a week on a trolley which is unacceptable for the patients of Mayo and for the nurses and staff; if the Minister will address the urgent need for 40 more medical beds at Mayo General Hospital; and will she make a statement on the matter; (9) Deputy O'Dowd — to ask the Minister for Health to fully outline the process by which the location of the proposed new acute hospital in the Health Service Executive, HSE, north east area will be decided and if there will be transparency, openness and clarity about the criteria used and direct access by the public to the consultants in order to exercise the absolute right in a democracy to input and express their views on this most important matter and that there will be political accountability at Cabinet level for this decision; and (10) Deputy Deenihan — the urgent need for a new health centre in Listowel, County Kerry.
