Dáil Éireann debate -
Thursday, 25 Oct 2007

Vol. 640 No. 3

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take No. 10e, motion re Orders of Reference of Committees; No. 10f, motion re appointment of members to committees; No. 3, Criminal Law (Human Trafficking) Bill 2007 — Order for Second Stage and Second Stage; and No. 15, Charities Bill 2007 — Second Stage (resumed). It is proposed, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders, that Nos. 10e and 10f shall be decided without debate and that the Dáil, on rising today, shall adjourn until 2.30 p.m. on Wednesday, 31 October 2007.

I submitted a request to adjourn the Dáil under Standing Order 32 and the Ceann Comhairle received it.

I am afraid I do not have it. I will have to communicate with the Deputy about it.

I, too, submitted a request and understand at least one other colleague of mine did so.

The answer is "No" anyway.

My apologies, they were not on the file. Like I said before, even Homer nods. I call Deputy Jan O'Sullivan.

Does the Ceann Comhairle mean Homer Simpson?
