I move:
That the proposal that Dáil Éireann resolves that section 17A (inserted by section 2(1) of the Diseases of Animals (Amendment) Act 2001 (No. 3 of 2001)) of the Diseases of Animals Act 1966 (No. 6 of 1966) shall continue in force for the period ending on 8th March, 2011, be referred to the Joint Committee on Agriculture, Fisheries and Food in accordance with paragraph (2) of the Orders of Reference of that Committee, which, not later than 23rd February, 2010, shall send a message to the Dáil in the manner prescribed in Standing Order 87, and Standing Order 86(2) shall accordingly apply."
