Vol. 704 No. 1

Business of Dáil.

I move:

That notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders or the order of the Dáil of this day, the proceedings in respect of No. 20 shall be taken at 6.35 p.m. and shall, if not previously concluded, be brought to a conclusion at 7 p.m. and the following arrangements shall apply: (i) the speeches shall be confined to a Minister or Minister of State and the main spokespersons for Fine Gael, the Labour Party and Sinn Féin, who shall be called upon in that order and who may share their time, which shall not exceed five minutes in each case; and (ii) a Minister or Minister of State shall be called upon to make a speech in reply which shall not exceed five minutes.

Is the motion agreed to?

To what does No. 20 on the Order Paper relate?

It relates to the dissolution of——

It is a motion regarding the proposed approval by Dáil Éireann of the National Economic and Social Forum and National Centre for Partnership and Performance Dissolution Order 2010.

So it is not the dissolution of the Dáil.

Deputy Charles Flanagan was becoming concerned. I must admit that I was similarly concerned when I heard the word "dissolution".

Question put and agreed to.
Sitting suspended at 1.30 p.m. and resumed at 2.30 p.m.
