Topical Issue Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 27A and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Jim Daly — the proposed extension to Clonakilty Community College, County Cork; (2) Deputy Dessie Ellis — the need to ensure bus services in Dublin, in particular in the areas of Ballymun and Finglas; (3) Deputy James Bannon — the projected savings to be made from the closure of Columb Barracks, Mullingar, County Westmeath; (4) Deputy Thomas P. Broughan — the need to make available the necessary finance to tackle problems in the north fringe of Dublin and to facilitate the rehousing of residents of Priory Hall; (5) Deputy Michael McCarthy — the need to amend NAMA legislation in order to prevent payments being made to developers; (6) Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett — the provision of emergency assistance for persistent flood black-spots in the Dún Laoghaire area of County Dublin; (7) Deputy Mick Wallace — the need to work towards withholding the next unsecured bondholder payout; and (8) Deputy Clare Daly — the need to review the tendering process for the occupancy of two shop spaces in Terminal One of Dublin Airport.

The matters raised by Deputies Michael McCarthy, Mick Wallace, Clare Daly and James Bannon have been selected for discussion.
