I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 27A and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Catherine Byrne — the need for immediate intervention to prevent future flooding and flood damage to properties along the Camac and Poddle rivers in Dublin city; (2) Deputy Peadar Tóibín — the impact of the pension levy on the pensions of Tara Mines pensioners; (3) Deputy Paschal Donohoe — the need to review the integration of payments of rent supplement allowances with the provision of good standard rental accommodation; (4) Deputy Simon Harris — the need for the provision of full respite services at St. Coleman's Hospital, Rathdrum, County Wicklow; (5) Deputies Thomas P. Broughan and Dessie Ellis — the need to find a solution to the problems faced by residents of Priory Hall, Dublin 13; (6) Deputy Timmy Dooley — the introduction of VAT charges on admission to open farms and pet farms; (7) Deputy Charlie McConalogue — the status of the A5 dual carriageway project from Derry to the Monaghan border; (8) Deputy Joan Collins — the proposal to cut child benefit and payments to one-parent families; (9) Deputy John O'Mahony — possible changes to absenteeism and sick pay; (10) Deputies Tom Hayes, Seamus Healy and Mattie McGrath — the proposed closure of Kickham Barracks, Clonmel, County Tipperary; (11) Deputy Dara Calleary — the potential closure of 25 beds at St. Joseph's District Hospital, Ballina, County Mayo; (12) Deputy Olivia Mitchell — the proposed sale by NAMA of 750 houses with market risk guarantees for buyers and the impact of this on taxpayers and on private home owners; (13) Deputy Brian Stanley — the need for legislation to regulate the domestic waste collection sector; (14) Deputy Pat Deering — the need to have Carlow included on the motorway signs on the M7 prior to the split into the M7 and M9; (15) Deputy Willie O'Dea — the proposal that employers pay the costs of employees absent due to sick leave; (17) Deputy Catherine Murphy — the consequences of the removal of the cap on retail space; (18) Deputy Anthony Lawlor — the need to provide additional funding to increase the number of SafeTALK suicide prevention courses; (19) Deputy Thomas Pringle — the threat to community library services provided by county councils from the public service recruitment embargo; (20) Deputy Martin Ferris — the impact of cuts on people with disabilities particularly the cuts to the Kerry Network of People with Disabilities; (21) Deputies Clare Daly and Richard Boyd Barrett — democracy protests in Egypt and the military crackdown; (22) Deputy Barry Cowen — the need to clarify in advance of budget 2012 the definition of headline social welfare cuts; (23) Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív — the libel case between Fr. Kevin Reynolds and RTE; (24) Deputy Sean Fleming — the number of community-run nursing homes being considered for closure; (25) Deputy Joe Costello — the need to ensure the necessary repair work is carried out on gas flues in The Foundry, The Kiln and The Forge, Railway Street, Dublin 1; (26) Deputy Micheál Martin — the distribution of the pre-budget proposals from the Department of Finance to members of the German Parliament; (28) Deputy Billy Kelleher — the introduction of a charge for medical cards or increasing the prescription charge for medical card patients; and (29) Deputy Mick Wallace — the need to stop the purchase of land in respect of the New Ross bypass.
