Vol. 798 No. 2

Statute of Limitations (Amendment) Bill 2013: First Stage

I move:

That leave be granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to provide that certain persons shall be under a disability for the purpose of bringing actions relating to symphysiotomy and pubiotomy performed on them without medical justification, for that purpose to amend the Statute of Limitations, 1957, and to provide for matters connected therewith.

Is the Bill opposed?

Question put and agreed to.

Since this is a Private Members' Bill, Second Stage must, under Standing Orders, be taken in Private Members' time.

I move: "That the Bill be taken in Private Members' time."

Question put and agreed to.
