Topical Issue Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 29A and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Thomas Pringle - to discuss the staffing shortages in Scoil Mhuire, Creeslough, County Donegal; (2) Deputy Gino Kenny - to discuss the planning issues surrounding Larkfield House in Clondalkin; (3) Deputies Niamh Smyth, Charlie McConalogue, Brendan Smith, Eamon Scanlon, Michael Moynihan, Jackie Cahill and Eugene Murphy - the need to address the fodder shortage and provide assistance to those affected farmers; (4) Deputy John Brassil - to discuss the removal of DEIS status from Ballyduff and Rathmorrel national school; (5) Deputies Pat Casey and Richard Boyd Barrett - to discuss the sale of Enterprise Ireland's shareholding in Ardmore Studios, Bray, County Wicklow: (6) Deputy Joan Burton - to discuss the possible closure of the Central Bank money printing facility; (7) Deputy Brian Stanley - the need for a plan for the future of Abbeyleix hospital; (8) Deputy Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire - the need to discuss the waiting list for driving tests; (9) Deputy Fiona O'Loughlin - to discuss the delay in the tender for St. Paul's school, Monasterevin; and (10) Deputy Mick Wallace - to discuss comments made by the Attorney General last Friday.

The matters raised by Deputies Thomas Pringle; Pat Casey and Richard Boyd Barrett; and Niamh Smyth, Charlie McConalogue, Brendan Smith, Eamon Scanlon, Michael Moynihan, Jackie Cahill and Eugene Murphyhave been selected for discussion.
