Ábhair Shaincheisteanna Tráthúla - Topical Issue Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 37 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Neale Richmond - to discuss access to pre-birth appointments for birthing partners; (2) Deputy Martin Kenny - to discuss the crisis in the funding of local authority veterinary services; (3) Deputy Steven Matthews - to discuss the timeline for a new school building for Greystones Community College, Greystones, County Wicklow; (4) Deputy Sean Sherlock - to discuss the need to improve the N73 Mallow to Mitchelstown road; (5) Deputy Marian Harkin - to discuss patient access to the medicine Duodopa; (6) Deputy Fergus O'Dowd - to discuss assistance with emergency funding for Scoil an Spioraid Naiomh, East Meath; (7) Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh - to discuss due recognition to the bravery of Defence Forces members at Jadotville; (8) Deputy Brian Stanley - to ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to discuss local authority service funding for the inspection of local abattoirs that supply butcher shops; (9) Deputies Mattie McGrath and Michael Collins - to discuss restrictions on public worship and financial assistance for the Irish Catholic Church; (10) Deputy Darren O'Rourke - to discuss the decision to cancel the roll-out of the school immunisation programme in Meath; (11) Deputies Jim O'Callaghan, Cormac Devlin and John Lahart - to discuss preparedness for Halloween across Dublin under Covid-19 level 5 restrictions; (12) Deputy Ruairí Ó Murchú - to discuss access to the flu vaccine for persons at risk; and (13) Deputy Holly Cairns - the need to discuss providing proper remuneration to all student nurses and midwives for mandatory placements in hospitals in the context of Covid-19 with the Minister for Health.

The matters raised by Deputies Richmond, Mattie McGrath and Michael Collins, Harkin, and Ó Snodaigh, have been selected for discussion.
