Ábhair Shaincheisteanna Tráthúla - Topical Issue Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 37 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Richard Bruton - the need to introduce reforms which will make it easier for consumers to switch providers and achieve better prices and services more attuned to their needs across all utilities, insurance and financial services; (2) Deputies Pearse Doherty and Mairéad Farrell - ó tharla gur tháinig sé chuig solais inné nár chur eagraíocht ar bith tairiscint isteach do chomórtas an Oifig um Sholáthar Rialtais i leith athhbreithniú ar thoghcháin Údaráis na Gaeltachta, chun a fhiafraí céard iad na céad céimeanna eile atá beartaithe ag an Aire Gaeltachta; (3) Deputy Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire - to discuss the delay in releasing the eligibility criteria for allocation of the local authority-led affordable housing scheme; (4) Deputy David Cullinane - to raise the capacity constraints in University Hospital Waterford with the Minister for Health; (5) Deputy Martin Browne - to raise the services available for children with the eating disorder avoidant restrictive food intake disorder, ARFID, and to ask when it will be included in DSM 5 criteria for eating disorders; (6) Deputy Kieran O'Donnell - to ask the Minister for Education for an update on the progress in the delivery of the new Educate Together secondary school building in Castletroy, Limerick; (7) Deputy David Stanton - to discuss with the Minister for Education the need to have Carrigtwohill and Midleton in County Cork recognised as one education centre for the purposes of second level school transport; (8) Deputies Mattie McGrath, Michael McNamara and Richard O'Donoghue - to discuss a review of the trolley crisis in University Hospital Limerick; (9) Deputy Maurice Quinlivan - to ask the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage if his Department has plans to review the current HAP letting system, considering the limited number of rental properties available to those availing of housing assistance supports, and if he will make a statement on the matter; (10) Deputy Martin Kenny - to discuss the difficulties in accessing pain management consultants and gynaecological care in the west; (11) Deputy Barry Cowen - the need for the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to make a statement on the delays in the provision of work permits; and (12) Deputy Brendan Griffin - to raise the south Kerry greenway.

The matters raised by Deputies Pearse Doherty and Mairéad Farrell, Deputies Mattie McGrath, Michael McNamara and Richard O'Donoghue, Deputy Niamh Smyth and Deputy Richard Bruton have been selected for discussion.
