The committee has received apologies from the Chairman, Deputy Deasy, and Deputies Ó Snodaigh, Quinn, Allen and Andrews, Senators Ormonde, McDowell and Dardis, Ms Avril Doyle, MEP, and Mr. Brian Crowley, MEP. In accordance with an order of the Dáil of 16 November 2004, Deputies Mulcahy and Carey have been discharged from the committee and Deputies Dan Wallace and Walsh have been appointed in their places. I welcome Deputies Wallace and Walsh. We expect another order of the Dáil today relating to membership.
