Before we conclude this meeting, and under the heading of any other business, I am proposing that for the next meeting we invite some senior officials from the Revenue Commissioners to attend. We said before that we wanted to examine the issue of tax breaks and the costs of tax breaks and shelters. We should have this meeting in advance of the budget. We also mentioned that we would like to hear a presentation from the professional insurance brokers regarding the central bank and financial services authority (no. 2) Bill.

What time?
Three o'clock is our standard time. The meeting will be on Wednesday, 15 October with the Revenue Commissioners to discuss tax breaks and tax shelters. In the event of it not being practical on that date, we will seek to deal with another topic.
Can the Chairman organise that whatever information comes from the requests be circulated to all the members of the committee?
As soon as it arrives, it will, without consultation with me, be circulated by the secretariat to all members.
