There will be no meeting of the joint or select committee next week as the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform will take parliamentary questions in the House. Accordingly, I wish a happy Christmas and a peaceful new year to the Minister, members, clerk, committee secretariat staff and not least to the hidden support staff in the Debates Office, the Bills Office, the broadcast unit, sound engineers, ushers and staff of the Superintendent's section.
I wish to place on record my thanks and that of the members, past chairman and members of the justice committee to Danny Greham who, for the past three and half years, has worked on the committee. He leaves the committee secretariat today and we wish Danny every success and thank him for his dedication and hard work.
