DEPUTY M. MANNING IN THE CHAIR.

It has been decided that the next meeting of the committee will be on Friday, 29 March commencing at 9.30 a.m. We hope to work through the day to try to get through as much of the Bill as we possibly can. That gives rise to the question of amendments. Minister, is there any date that you need to have amendments in by? We are talking about amendments over a very large section of the Bill. We already have ministerial amendments. All amendments from you are in. Senator O'Leary, what sort of time scale would you require?

Certainly a week.

In that case all amendments will have to be in by the 22nd. Is that all right with you, Minister?
