SECTION 28.

Question proposed: "That section 28 stand part of the Bill."

This section re-enacts existing law that a special application to the court should be made for a search warrant where there is reason to believe that any property of the bankrupt is concealed in a place not belonging to him.

The committee recommended the reenactment of this provision because they considered that a special application to the court for a search warrant should always be necessary to enter premises other than the bankrupt's.
