Joint Committee on the Secondary Legislation of the European Communities debate -
Thursday, 1 Nov 1973

Procedure

Senator Robinson has indicated that she would like to bring along some students of European Law from Trinity College, Dublin to observe our proceedings and I am very happy on behalf of the committee to welcome them.

Deputies Fahey and Flanagan and Senators FitzGerald, Lenihan and O'Callaghan have conveyed their apologies for not being able to attend.

Since this is the first report of the Joint Committee to go to both Houses of the Oireachtas, what is the procedure in this regard? Is it proposed to let it be taken as a general report or can the committee put forward a general report with minority reservations?
