Report on Proposals for Community Legislation Concerning Transport Statistics, Aid for Projects in the Hydrocarbons Sector, Taximeters, Preservatives in Foodstuffs, Colza and Rape Seed: Erucic Acid in Fats, Oil and Margarine.

Right. We must not sit beyond the time of the House. It is getting very near 5 o'clock. There is only one more report and that is the Report on Proposals for Community Legislation regarding Transport Statistics, Aid for Projects in the Hydrocarbons Sector, Taximeters, Preservatives in Foodstuffs and Colza and Rape Seed : Erucic Acid in Fats, Oil and Margarine. First, on Transport Statistics, the only thing to note there is that we feel that because the statistics would be required entirely for Community purposes, they should be paid for out of Community funds. Then on the hydrocarbons sector, there is nothing, except we say that one Irish firm, a very enterprising one, and a most technically competent firm, have been recommended for a grant for a very important project. Taximeters—this does not give rise to any problem except to note that in so far as we are going to use taximeters of the EEC pattern, we cannot put any bar in the way of these being imported. On Preservatives in Foodstuffs there is no problem. Colza and Rape Seeds are not grown here at all. Erucic Acid in Fats, Oil and Margarine for human consumption—the standards fixed are not regarded as being likely to have any significance in relation to trade in this country. I take it that the Committee approve of this last report?
