The chairmanship of the Sub-Committee on Agricultural and Fishery Matters has been vacant since its former chairman, Deputy Michael Smith, was appointed Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture. I should like to congratulate Deputy Smith on that appointment. We have now to appoint another Member to replace Deputy Smith as chairman of that Sub-Committee.
