Debates in the Dáil

The Dáil Order providing for debates of the Reports of the Joint Committee in the Dáil has not as yet been renewed. I understand that the Vice-Chairman, Deputy Noonan, has been in touch again with the Government Chief Whip in the matter.

With regard to the way we deal with our business today, may I suggest that despite Senator Robinson's absence it is desirable that we should consider her two draft reports? I would suggest we leave these two to the end of our meeting.

Perhaps Senator Molony will produce his draft report on product liability and then perhaps Senator Mulcahy would take his two proposals, dealing with the inter-regional air services and the laws relating to textile labelling, in any order he likes.
