Before you proceed to the next business, I would like the Seanad to pause and consider what we have just done. We have passed the first Act of an Irish Parliament for 123 years. I think we may all thank Providence that we have been allowed to take part in this work. We set a milestone to-day in our Nation's progress; we have done what generation after generation of Irishmen have lived and died to do, and we may thank God we have lived to see this day.
