OIREACHTAS STAFF. - MESSAGE FROM DAIL.

The CLERK of the SEANAD

read the following:—

Cléireach an tSeanaid.

Tá orm a chur in úil duit gur ritheadh an rún so leanas ag Dáil Eireann ar an 27adh lá de Mhárta, 1923:—

"Go gcuirfear in úil do Sheanad Eireann mar fhreagra ar a dTeachtaireacht i dtaobh árus an Oireachtais ná fuil aon cheist mar gheall ar bhuanshuidheamh an Oireachtais fé bhreithniú i láthair na huaire; go bhfuil socrú sealadach, a sholáthróidh áis fearr ná an áis atá le fáil i dTigh Laighean, fé bhreithniú go trialach agus, nuair a bheidh mionchúrsaí an tsocruithe seo criochnuithe, go leagfar an scéim fé bhráid na Dála agus an tSeanaid chun a mbreithnithe."

I have to inform you that the following resolution was passed by Dáil Eireann on the 27th March, 1923:—

"That Seanad Eireann be informed in reply to their Message relative to the housing of the Oireachtas that no question of final arrangements for the permanent location of the Oireachtas is at present under consideration; that a temporary proposal, which will be afford better facilities than are now available at Leinster House, is being tentatively considered and that, when the details of this proposal are completed the scheme will be laid before the Dáil and Seanad for consideration."
