SEANAD RESUMES. - FUTURE BUSINESS.

AN CATHAOIRLEACH

That concludes the business on the Orders of the Day. Before the motion for the adjournment is moved, I wish to announce that we shall consider to-morrow the three Bills that were put through certain stages to-day, and I think we might put them through their concluding stages. Two of them have emerged from Committee, so that nothing is left but the Report Stage and the Final Stage, and the third, this Censorship of Films Bill, seems to be so universally accepted by the Seanad that I safely think we might put it down to-morrow and put it through its concluding stages. I had hoped that the Finance Bill would have come up from the other House in time to be put in the hands of members so that they would be in a position to deal with the Second Stage to-morrow, but one or two amendments are being inserted, I understand, to-day, with the result that it will only reach you in a rather incomplete form. Nevertheless, I understand it is the general wish of the members that it also should appear for the Second Stage to-morrow, so that the members might have the opportunity of discussing the general financial policy of the Government. Accordingly, that Bill will also appear on the Agenda to-morrow for the Second Reading Stage.

Will the Bill be in its final form as passed by the Dáil?

AN CATHAOIRLEACH

It will be, I understand, Senator Guinness, but it will not be reached in time for a print of it to be in your hands to-morrow. It will be disposed of, I understand, finally to-day, so far as the Dáil is concerned, and I have been asked by several Senators to allow it to appear in the Orders of the Day for to-morrow for the Second Stage, so that there might be a general discussion on the financial policy. I shall not, during that discussion, hold members very closely to the precise subject matters of this particular Bill.
