Vol. 2 No. 8

INTERPRETATION BILL, 1923—SECOND STAGE.

Question: "That the Bill be now read a Second Time," put and agreed to.

AN CATHAOIRLEACH

There were no amendments to this Bill, I understand, in the Dáil. It is practically a formal Bill. I do not know whether the Seanad would desire to conclude it.

This is purely a formal Bill, and I do not think it is a matter that arouses any controversy. There is nothing in it we propose to amend, and I move the suspension of the Standing Orders to allow the remaining stages to be taken.

I beg to second.

Question put and agreed to.
