Vol. 3 No. 7

THE SEANAD IN COMMITTEE. - THE ROAD FUND ADVANCES BILL, 1924.

AN CATHAOIRLEACH

I would like to call the attention of the Seanad and, perhaps, the Minister to a formal matter with regard to the Bill we have just passed through Committee — the Road Fund (Advances) Bill, 1924, which was certified as a Money Bill. I am informed that it is three weeks to-day since that Bill was sent to the Seanad. That being so, the Seanad might put the remaining stages of the Bill through to-day. I have notification from the Ceann Comhairle that the three weeks expire to-day. Perhaps some Senator would move the suspension of the Standing Orders and we will put that Bill through its remaining stages now.

I beg to move the suspension of the Standing Orders.

I beg to second.

Motion agreed to.
Bill put through remaining Stages and passed.
