Seanad Éireann debate -

Vol. 3 No. 10

ORDER OF BUSINESS.

AN CATHAOIRLEACH

In accordance with the arrangements made the last day, when the Minister in charge of the Bill was present it was agreed that we should take up to-day at once the resumed Committee Stage of the Railways Bill. If we succeeded in getting that Committee Stage concluded in a reasonable time we then would be able to deal with the Second Stage of the Bills on the Orders of the Day. I propose if it suits the Seanad that the Seanad will meet to-morrow at 11 o'clock, and the first business will be the consideration of the Finance Bill. When that has been discussed I propose that we should take up the reconsideration of the Report of the Temporary Accommodation of the Oireachtas, and it will also be necessary for us to-morrow to consider the question of the ratification of the Lausanne Treaty.

I take it that the arrangements with regard to the Railways Bill will not prevent the Private Bill being taken. It is only a formality.

AN CATHAOIRLEACH

Oh, no, that will not prevent it.
