Vol. 3 No. 10

[SEANAD IN COMMITTEE.] - PILOTAGE ORDERS CONFIRMATION BILL, 1924.—THIRD STAGE.

Perhaps it would be better if I would briefly explain to the Seanad that in this Bill, according to the Standing Orders relating to private business or a Bill of this character, if there are no petitions against it, it is taken by the Committee of the whole Seanad, and not referred to a special Joint Committee. There are no amendments handed in, in the case of this Bill, and I take it that what we have formally to do is to propose that the Bill be reported to the Seanad without amendment.

Motion—"That the Bill be reported to the Seanad without amendment"— put and agreed to.
