Vol. 3 No. 11

SEANAD RESUMES. - BUSINESS OF THE SEANAD.

AN CATHAOIRLEACH

I should like the Seanad to come to a conclusion now as to what course they will take regarding the remainder of the work. We have contemplated adjourning at 5 o'clock, and leave was given to Senator McLoughlin to raise then a matter in which he was interested. I do not think the question of the Lausanne Treaty will take very long, and a solution would probably be for the Seanad to sit until 5.30. That would give the Minister an opportunity of concluding his speech, and the balance of the time could be given to Senator McLoughlin. Whatever conclusion the Seanad arrives at I think it would be more convenient not to meet to-morrow, but to meet on Wednesday at 11 o'clock. If there is no objection made to this Order I shall make it and direct the Clerk to act accordingly.
