Vol. 4 No. 7

HOUR OF MEETING OF THE SEANAD.

If the Seanad has not finished with the Local Government Bill this evening, at what time would it meet to-morrow?

AN CATHAOIRLEACH

That is a matter upon which I will consult the convenience of the Seanad as a whole. Presumably we could meet at 3 o'clock, but if it is desired to meet earlier I am entirely at your service. It would be desirable to dispose of the Committee Stage of this Bill this week. We ought to be able to do that without any undue pressure.

There are at least four Senators sitting on a Private Bill Committee which meets to-morrow at 10.30 a.m., and will continue until 3 p.m.

AN CATHAOIRLEACH

Will the Committee sit on Friday?

It will, but not beyond lunch time.

AN CATHAOIRLEACH

I think we had better arrange to meet at the usual hour to-morrow, 3 p.m.

The Seanad agreed.
