I have to inform the Seanad that I received the following intimation from the Clerk of the Dáil:—"The Dáil has passed the following resolution:—That the Joint Committee on Standing Orders relative to Private Business be requested to submit additional Standing Orders regularising the procedure to be adopted in connection with Private Bills relating to Matrimonial Matters other than Bills of Divorce, a vinculo matrimonii, and to propose such alterations in the Standing Orders as will prevent the introduction of such Bills of Divorce a vinculo matrimonii, and that a message be sent to the Seanad requesting its concurrence in this resolution.”
I propose, at our meeting on Wednesday next, to consult the Seanad as to when this resolution should be dealt with.
