ELECTRICITY SUPPLY (SPECIAL POWERS) BILL, 1925—REPORT STAGE.

There is an amendment by Senator Barrington which reads:—

Section 2, sub-section (4). To add at the end of the section the words: "Where a saving is effected to the ‘Authorised Undertaker' in the cost of the production of electricity by the provisions of this Act, such saving shall be passed on in full to the consumer."

Amendment not moved.
