The first item of public business is the Second Stage of the Acquisition of Land (Allotments) Bill. I see that the Minister in charge of the Bill is in attendance, and as he is anxious to be here when item No. 5 on the Order Paper is reached—that is the motion standing in the name of Senator Sir John Keane —perhaps with the permission of the House I may be allowed to take item No. 5 for the convenience of the Minister, after we have disposed of item No. 2.
