PRIVATE BUSINESS. - DUBLIN UNITED TRAMWAYS (LUCAN ELECTRIC RAILWAYS) BILL, 1927.—SECOND STAGE.

I move:

"That the Dublin United Tramways (Lucan Electric Railways) Bill, 1927, be read a Second Time."

Question put and agreed to.

I move:

"That it is expedient that a Joint Committee of both Houses be appointed to consider the Dublin United Tramways (Lucan Electric Railways) Bill, 1927, being a Bill entitled an Act to authorise the Dublin United Tramways Co. (1896), Ltd. to acquire the undertakings of the Dublin and Lucan and the Lucan and Leixlip Electric Railway Companies, and to alter and maintain the existing lines of these companies, and to enable the Company to act as electricity undertakers, and to amend certain Acts relating to the Company and for other purposes."

Ordered—"That a message be sent to the Dáil accordingly."
