Seanad Éireann debate -
Wednesday, 23 Feb 1927

Vol. 8 No. 7

PUBLIC BUSINESS. - THE ADJOURNMENT.

Owing to the length of this discussion I suggest that the Seanad adjourn until to-morrow.

CATHAOIRLEACH

We would have to meet to-morrow in any event, as we could not possibly get through the entire programme to-day, and, therefore, if there is a substantial number of Senators who wish that we should rise now, I should agree to that unless it is objected to. I cannot give any undertaking as regards this day week. I should be in a better position to-morrow to say whether there would be business for next Wednesday. If there is any business of any real character I could ask the House to meet.

The Seanad adjourned at 6.30 o'clock until 3 o'clock on Thursday.
