Vol. 8 No. 8

DUBLIN PORT AND DOCKS (BRIDGE) BILL, 1927.

I move that the Bill entitled an Act to enable the Dublin Port and Docks Board to rebuild, alter and enlarge Butt Bridge; to provide funds for the execution of those works; to authorise an additional or substituted rate in the place of certain existing rates for other purposes, be read a second time.

Question put and agreed to.

I suppose I am too late now to object to the Second Reading of the Butt Bridge Bill? I really came in for that purpose.

CATHAOIRLEACH

I am afraid so. If you had given me intimation I could have waited for you.

I blocked it yesterday.

CATHAOIRLEACH

That is not enough. You might have repented in the meantime. However, it is too late now.

I move: "That it is expedient that the Dublin Port and Docks (Bridge) Bill be referred to a Joint Committee of both Houses."

Question put and agreed to.
