Perhaps I might again refer to the election to fill the casual vacancy in the Seanad. I think it is fairly certain that we will have to meet not only next week but the two following weeks. A fortnight must elapse before the election takes place. As there seems to be no objection on the part of Senators, I would suggest that this day fortnight should be fixed for the election. That will allow a week within which candidates must be nominated. A week would then elapse before the election.
