PUBLIC BUSINESS. - SUSPENSION OF STANDING ORDERS.

On behalf of Senator Guinness, I move:—"That the Standing Orders be suspended for the purpose of enabling the Fifth Stage of the following Bills to be taken to-day, Friday, 2nd December, 1927:—Local Elections Bill, 1927, Defence Forces (Temporary Provisions) (No. 2) Bill, 1927, and the Finance (No. 2) Bill, 1927."

I second the motion.
