Vol. 10 No. 24

PRIVATE BUSINESS. - COURTS OF JUSTICE BILL, 1928—THIRD STAGE.

The Seanad went into Committee.

CATHAOIRLEACH

Three amendments to this Bill have been handed in by Senator Dowdall, but there has been no time to circulate them.

I rather object to the Committee Stage of this Bill being taken now. I recognise that it is a useful Bill. If it would suit the convenience of the House and of the Minister, I would suggest that it would be deferred until to-morrow or next week when we could take the remaining stages of it.

CATHAOIRLEACH

We could take the Committee Stage of it to-day, and leave over your amendments for the Report Stage on to-morrow.

I agree.

The Bill passed through Committee without amendment with the exception of Sections 5 and 11, which were left over until the following day to enable Senator Dowdall to move his amendments to them. It was ordered that the consideration of these sections be taken on the following day.

Bill ordered to be reported.

The Seanad went out of Committee.

Bill reported.
