Vol. 10 No. 31

PRIVATE BUSINESS. - BUSINESS OF THE HOUSE.

CATHAOIRLEACH

Before we take up the business on the Order Paper, I would like to inform the House that, so far as I can see, the business to-morrow will be the remaining stages of these Constitutional Amendment Bills. There is a motion, of which notice has been given, to take the final stages of these Bills to-morrow. In the event of that being agreed to, the only other business for to-morrow will be the Report Stage of the Forestry Bill, which stands over for the purpose of dealing with a few matters not disposed of. That would exhaust our business for to-morrow. As regards Friday, I would ask the House to meet at 12 o'clock on that day, because we can then dispose of the rules. We cannot touch the rules for the carrying out of the selection of the panel until this Bill has gone through. If the Bill goes through to-morrow, and is completed, we can frame our rules on Friday. In that event. I would have to ask the House to meet again on Friday at 12 o'clock.
