I have been asked by the Minister for Industry and Commerce to announce that the opening of intake works of the Shannon Development will take place at Parteen Villa on Monday, 22nd July, at or about 2.30 p.m. A special train will run from Dublin to Limerick on Monday, leaving Dublin at about 10.30 a.m. and arriving again in Dublin about 7 p.m. Invitations are being issued for this train. A number of places, not less than 25, are being reserved for Senators. Senators who wish to travel on the train are requested to hand in their names to the Clerk. Formal invitations will be issued later.
The Seanad adjourned at 7.15 p.m. until July 18th.
