Senators will have noticed that Ministers in charge of Bills are occasionally put into a very awkward position by reason of having to leave the House in order to vote in a division in the other House; and the Seanad is also inconvenienced to some extent, since business is liable to be interrupted pending the Minister's return. Might I suggest to the Minister that when Ministers expect to be engaged in this House they should arrange to pair? It would be very convenient for them and for this House. I am sure there would be no difficulty in such an arrangement, and it would greatly facilitate business.
