I have to acquaint the House, with reference to the resolution passed by the Seanad on the 7th June, 1940, pursuant to sub-section (2) of Section 2 of Article 25 of the Constitution, that the Defence Forces (Temporary Provisions) (No. 2) Bill, 1940, was signed by the President on that day.
