In connection with the business to-day, it has been suggested that, if the debate on the Finance Bill has not concluded by 6 p.m., we should then adjourn for an hour to enable the Minister to keep certain engagements which he has for to-day. On the resumption at 7 p.m., before resuming the debate on the Finance Bill, we could take item No. 5 —the Local Authorities Bill. I presume there will be no objection to proceeding accordingly.
