Seanad Éireann debate -
Wednesday, 13 Nov 1940

Vol. 24 No. 27

Business of Seanad.

Many Senators have been here for a long time, and I suggest that there should be a short adjournment to give them an opportunity of getting their tea.

There is another motion on the Order Paper in the name of Senator Baxter.

I should like to speak on Senator Baxter's motion, but I would not talk about it to-night. I suggest that his motion be moved and that the debate on it be adjourned to some other more convenient occasion.

If Senator Baxter were allowed to move his motion and the debate on it adjourned until the next sitting, would not that be more satisfactory?

If Senators agree with that.

Agreed.
