Sugar (Prohibition of Import) Order, 1943—Motion of Approval.

I move:

That Seanad Eireann hereby approves of the Sugar (Prohibition of Import) Order, 1943.

Minister for Supplies (Mr. Lemass)

This is only a formal Order, the effect of which is to confine the bulk importation of sugar to the Irish Sugar Company.
