Public Business. - Library Joint Committee—Message from Dáil.
The following Message was received from Dáil Eireann:—
Tá Dáil Eireann tar éis an rún so leanas do rith agus is mian leo Seanad Eireann d'aontú leis:—
"Go bhfuil sé oiriúnach comh-Choiste ar a mbeidh Cúigear comhaltaí den Dáil agus Cúigear comhaltaí den tSeanad do bhunú chun cúnamh agus comhairle do thabhairt don Cheann Comhairle agus don Chathaoirleach i dtreoradh agus i stiúradh Leabharlainne an Oireachtais."
Dáil Eireann has passed the following resolution in which the concurrence of Seanad Eireann is desired:—
"That it is expedient that a Joint Committee consisting of five members of the Dáil and five members of the Seanad be set up to assist and advise the Ceann Comhairle and the Cathaoirleach in the direction and control of the Oireachtas Library."
