Public Business. - Restaurant Joint Committee—Motion.

I formally move the motion standing in Senator Quirke's name:—

Go n-aontaí an Seanad leis an Dáil ina Rún a cuireadh in iúl don tSeanad an 19ú lá de Mheán Fhómhair, 1944, go bhfuil sé oiriúnach Comh-Choiste ar a mbéidh seachtar comhaltaí den Dáil agus seachtar comhaltaí den tSeanad do bhunú chun cúnamh agus comhairle do thabhairt don Cheann Comhairle i dteoradh agus i stiúradh Seomra Bhídh an Oireachtais.

That the Seanad concur with the Dáil in their resolution communicated to the Seanad the 19th day of September, 1944, that it is expedient that a Joint Committee consisting of seven members of the Dáil and seven members of the Seanad be set up to assist and advise the Ceann Comhairle in the direction and control of the Oireachtas Restaurant.
